About Chef Passport
Chef Passport is a cooking app that treats every recipe as a trip to another country. You pick a dish, the app generates a recipe made just for you, and you cook it in your own kitchen — learning the history, language, science and maths of the dish as you go. When you're done, you leave a little review and earn a stamp in your passport book.
The app has four tiers — Tiny, Junior, Confident, and Master — that change how the recipes are written. A Tiny Chef recipe is a shared experience between a grown-up and a small child. A Junior Chef recipe is written for a 7-10 year old cooking with a grown-up nearby. Confident and Master are for older kids, teens, and adults. You (or your guardian) pick your tier, and you can change it any time as you grow.
It was built by a dad (Eric, from Poole in Dorset) for his two sons Caleb and Alfie, who were getting bored of the apps that treated them like they couldn't handle real information. Chef Passport doesn't dumb anything down. It just meets you where you are.
This is the short version. A fuller About page is coming soon.
